ClubCatalina Junior Golfers have a traditional "Friendlies" match with Royal Canberra Junior Golfers.  We alternate hosting the two day visit. This year it was Royal Canberra Golf Club to host the friendly matches. A team of twelve golfers from each Club compete for a Shield - this year Club Catalina was successful. On Monday 18th April 2011 we played stableford Royal Canberra won 4 and 2 and on Tuesday 19th we played match play with Catalina winning 9 and 2. We all stayed in the Forrest Motel and had a huge fully cooked breakfast, the staff could not believe the amount of food our Juniors consumed. The teams met at the Helenic Club for dinner on Monday Evening. Everyone was very well behaved, beautifully dressed and a good time was had by all including our Bus Driver Extraordinaire Don Wallace, Supervisors Mitch Tasker, Richard Abraham and Rossie and Rick Rossiter. The Team consisted of Mitch Donlan (Captain), Hamish Menz, Rhys Dunlop, Zinyo Garcia, Jayden Pincott, Sam Lee, Michael Temple, Ryan Smith, Jack and Murray Stewart, Jayden Trindall and Alex Woolridge.
